Sumiyoshi-taisha|Osaka, Japan

Sumiyoshi-taisha

The most of people who live in Osaka choose Sumiyoshi-taisha as fabulous place. And also quite a lot of people from various countries.

The sumiyosshi-taisha is the head shrine for 2,300 Sumiyoshi shrines in Japan. It has more than 1809 years-history.

Beautiful red bridge

Before enter the shrine, you can see the red bridge. This is the breathtaking. It is said that it will be purification just by walking over. It is hard to walk the step for me because the step is steep a little.

The grounds of shrine

It has absolutely solemn atomosphore and is so clean and well taken care of.

The Sumiyoshi-taisha has 4 Honden, more than 20 subordinate shrines. I recommend to have some spare time to walk around, so you don’t need to be concerned of time. It is pretty wide.

Goshuin

After enter the grounds of shrine, on your left side you can find the reception.

It costs 500 yen. (As of 11/2019)
